“Serbian Genealogical Center” was established in 2001 in order to directly and indirectly works in genealogical research. In accordance with the basic aim of the Centre is striving to organize, implement and support the research, collecting material, organization of professional and scientific meetings, and publication of materials and research results from the widest range of scientific disciplines, first of all ethnology and anthropology, but also to name only a sort of medieval, modern and contemporary history; iconography and heraldry; Church history… in the domain of those sciences whose methods and techniques can improve genealogical research and from the results of their research to complete genealogical knowledge. Such broad-ranging work of the Centre involves a high level of organization with the inclusion of a large number of associate experts in various fields, as well as numerous technical and administrative staff and of course substantial financial resources. At this time, in accordance with the primarily financial capabilities, our efforts are focused on the plan of organization of work, and concrete results we are achieving in the publishing field.
Following libraries were launched: The Ethnological Library (regular series / special editions / life stories); The Library Genealogy and The Library Roots, and work outside the series are also published.
