Two collections of works has been presented

At the cinema “Dolly Bell” in Andrićgrad today has been promotion of two collections of works “Rizničar i pamtitelj” (Treasurer and Rememberer) “Ratna knjiženost Republike Srpske” (War Literature of Republic of Srpska), published by the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of East Sarajevo.
Editor and project manager, Branko Letić, says that collection of works is a result of projects that have been going for for a few years and that these projects have been supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Republic of Srpska organized at the Faculty of Philology in Banja Luka and the Faculty of Philosophy in Pale.
“Besides teachers and assistants of the Department of Serbian Language and Literature in these projects have been also included eminent scientists from other faculties from Serbia, Montenegro and Canada,” says Letić.
Professor Saša Knežević says that the main objective of collection of works “Ratna knjiženost Republike Srpske” is to show that even during the war literates write, and that war literature exists.
“We have tried to find as many authors who have written at this time and that all from that period has been investigated. This is the mark that will show that war literature exists,“ says Knežević.
He also adds that in the collection of works is published 25 works of 15 authors.
Professor at the Faculty of Philology in Banja Luka, Ranko Popović, says that the Collection of works “Rizničar i Pamtitelj”, as its subheading “Pravoslavna duhovnost u literatura 20. veka” (Serbian Orthodox spirituality literature of the 20th century) suggests, is dedicated to one sidelined phenomenon of contemporary Serbian literature and its Orthodox spiritual matrix.
He specially thanked Andrićgrad for making the presentation of collection of works happen, and he also thanked to the professors and their associates for the results of their work that is done in order to preserve Serbian literature from oblivion.
