From the 5th to the 7th of September in Višegrad will be held Balkan Rowing Championships for juniors

The president of Rowing Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nebojša Marković confirmed that the final stage of preparation for Balkan Rowing Championships for juniors, which will be held from the 5th to the 7th of September on the Drina river downstream from Andrićgrad and Višegrad.
“Final works on a technical trail grooming long 2,000 meters, which will be about 350 athletes competing in all disciplines of rowing, are in the process. We make extra efforts that contest passes by at the highest organizational level“, says Marković, who is also the secretary general of the Republic of Srpska Rowing Federation.
He says that it is confirmed the arrival of rowers from Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Bosnia, and that the majority will be located in Višegrad.
Marković says that on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 12.00 will be held a press conference in Andrićgrad, when it will be known all the details about this championship.
“What is certain is that on the 6th September Višegrad will host the Congress of Balkan rowing federation, which will be held in the Andrić Institute“, says Marković.
Balkan Rowing Championships for juniors will be held at the newly built track in Sase. This track was made by the machinery of Andrićgrad.
