The Andrić institute: Exhibition of archive documents

Regarding the marking of the 100th anniversary since the beginning of the First World War, the Archives of Republic of Srpska in collaboration with the Positive Srpska Movement – as the organizer and sponsor of the event, on Saturday 30th August 2014 at 18:00 o’clock in Andrićgrad – the Andrić Institute, will open the exhibition titled “Young Bosnia and the Assassination in Sarajevo”.
This is Bojan Stojinić’s exhibition, which is about the Assassination in Sarajevo. The exhibition is divided into five thematic sections and includes documents that do not allow anyone to falsify history.
The most valuable exhibits at the exhibition are correspondence between members of the “Young Bosnia”, reports on the suffering of the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the First World War and photographs, depicting the hanging of the BIH and the closure of the concentration camps that represents special archival values.
The exhibition is accompanied by an illustrated bilingual catalog in Serbian and English.
Author of the exhibition is the assistant director of the Archives of Republic of Srpska, Bojan Stojnić, and this exhibition in Andrićgrad will also attend distinguished guests and representatives of the political, cultural, sports and social life of Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
